Settings reference
Every settings tab and what it controls: account, team, billing, alerts, coverage, automation, and the admin-only advanced tab.
Settings is organized into tabs along the top. Some appear only when a feature is turned on for your workspace, and a few are limited to workspace admins. Here's what each one controls.
Account
Your own login: password, email, two-factor authentication, and active sessions. Always available.
Team
Invite people into your workspace and set each person's role (admin or member). Admins can manage billing, the advanced tab, and other people; members can't. Available once your workspace is a real organization.
Billing
Your plan, the card on file, and recent invoices. If your workspace schedules its monthly reconciliation, the day it runs is set here too.
Alerts
Which events notify you (such as new billing drift) and whether they arrive in-app or by email. You can set a dollar threshold so small gaps stay quiet.
Coverage
The expectations behind device reconciliation: which kind of agent each class of device should run (RMM, security, backup) and how long a device can stay quiet before it's flagged. Appears when device reconciliation is enabled.
Webhooks and Automation feed
Connect BillRecon to your automation. Webhooks push events out to your tools when something changes; the Automation feed lets your tools push data in. Both appear when automation is enabled, and are managed by admins.
Advanced
Admin-only workspace controls: the activity log (who did what), removing sample data, and the danger zone for deleting the workspace.
Admin vs member
Billing, the Advanced tab, and team management are admin-only. The role that matters is your live role in the workspace, so promoting someone takes effect right away.
